Is an excellent school. My daughter learned to read in Kindergarden. She is now on first grade. I am very happy with teachers and the school program. I am going to miss this school since I am moving to PA.

I was very impressed with this school. It has is a very warm and friendly atmosphere. the classrooms are packed with supplies for the children, the books are new, there is a music program and the teachers are great. Who could ask for more!

I have been thrilled to have my children in the Levittown school district. Between my two children, we have been in elementary, middle and high school (Abbey, Wisdom and Divsion) and have had wonderful experiences with helpful teachers and principals that are approachable by both the students and parents. We have both sides of the spectrum in our family- a child in honor classes and one in special ed and we have been very thankful for the love, concern and care from teachers and administrators that go above and beyond their normal jobs for the best care for our children.

This school has dedicated teachers who will do anything to the students succeed including giving up their time to give extra help. The schools administration is respected by all and the principle is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The Honors, ACL, and AP classes are taught by great teachers who know their material and know how to present it effectively.

The curriculum at Gardiner's Ave School is fantastic! With the help of teachers, parents and faculty our son is far exceeding the goals set forth for his grade level. Work is extensive already even at 2nd grade but we know and feel highly confident that he is getting the best education at this school. In comparison to friends kids who attend other schools on the island the curriculum at Gardiners allows the children to really expand their learning capabilities. If you are thinking about moving to Levittown rest assured that the environment at Gardiners is one your child will excel in.

As the parent of 4 students- 2 of whom are recent Mac graduates, I can say our tax dollars are put to excellent use. Both children began college with AP credit, one even began College as a sophomore. The music program is excellent, The sports wonderful- except for one teacher in 8 years, they have all been very dedicated and are really available to the students...Just last night I went to the Honor Society Induction and the Teacher of the Year was my children's teacher, they just said she is awesome, and thats from 15 year olds...Go Generals!

This is my son's second year in this school and I couldn't be more happy. Met all his teachers at 'Back to School' night and was so impressed by all of them. Salk has all the most updated equipment, books and services. I just don't know how they could improve anything. Keep up the great work Levittown!

I can't say enough good things about the Levittown district in general and this school and it's staff in particular. Our son is a special needs child and the Special Ed teachers in this school are outstanding. Every one that we have dealt with (my son is going into 5th grade in the fall) has been terrific. But it is more than just the teachers. From the principal, Mr. Squillacioti (or Mr S as the students call him) all the way down, every staff member is great. This past year we attempted to move my son from 12-1-1 to an "inclusion" class, and we had some issues. The teachers, school pyschologist, social worker, and principal worked with us to basically create a customized program for him. It started with being pulled from the inclusion class into a 12-1-1 for certain subjects and we kept tweaking it until it was the other way around, and it worked. We had their full support the entire year and I can't thank them all enough. If you have a child with special needs, it will be difficult, if not impossible to find a better district on Long Island than Levittown.

This school is great my son is so happy in this school. He use to go to northside and they weren't willing to encourage and nuture is needs. They labeled him has a problem child. Summit opened him with welcome arms and didn't judge the books by it cover they actually read each page in the book. I love this school this was the right fit for him and my family! :)

I just started Wisdom Lane school in september. I really like this school. They are very strict when it comes to bulliying. Although, they do have some nasty subs, the teachers are great.

I live in long island and I pay enormous amounts of tax to public school. My child used to go to public school, and that was great until public school would not work with her. In kindergarten, my daughter could read. In public school, she was forced to do sounding of the letters, and it was holding her back. After a few meetings with the teacher at public school, the teacher would complain about how my daughter wouldn't do the work, and that since there were 20 other kids to watch, and she would not give my daughter any special treatment. Unfortunately, that is just the thing. My daughter is so special to me, and I will not allow her potential to be denied. I am so glad I found the Maria Montessori school. My daughter now reads at her own pace, and the pricing is very reasonable. Thanks Ms. Larcy!
